We received our blower...and installed (it) without a glitch. The instructions were easy to follow...We have bragged up our stove to many, and even talked some strangers into buying one on our positive comments regarding ours, and now we can say the service is...as exceptional as the product itself.

Just a note...to thank you for the prompt service to replace a broken fire brick in my new stove. The gentleman I spoke with was very nice, and the item arrived sooner than I'd ever hoped for, and in fine condition...I've heated with wood for many years, using numerous types and brands of units. Yours is by far the best yet...This unit is very efficient, and well-made. I'm glad I purchased it.

Hi, We bought a 55-SHP10 pellet stove a couple of years ago. I can honestly say this purchase was probably the best decision I have ever made (other than getting married - of course). I am saving about $300 a month over electric heat...

Thanks a million for sending out that (part) for my 25-PDV stove. It is working great now...I bought this unit... from where I am now employed. To be honest, I am the department head of the Heating Dept. so now I can honestly tell my customers how great your products, especially service, is. Thanks again for everything.

...I can't rave about how much fantastic service (your service rep.) afforded me...(he) told me he could diagnose from what I told him, researched your files for the vitals on my stove...promised to send the correct part and gave me his extension to call for assistance in replacing the part. Please know in this day and age decent customer service is almost non-existent, and I do appreciate his help.

Subject: "...I've had a few stoves"
January, 2003
I've have this stove fired up for about three weeks. The weather has been in the low 20's to 15 below at night. I am VERY happy with it, and I am 75 years old and have had a few stoves. This one is great.

I recently purchased my stove (last one in stock). I installed it in just a matter of a couple of hours and had it going by nightfall. I had been using kerosene to heat my garage area (where my pets and plants stay)...I had a few minor hardware issues, but the service department folks were more than helpful...I even talked my neighbor into ordering one like mine.

I would just like to let you know that I am a satisfied owner of one of your pellet furnaces...This furnace is the sole source of heat for my cabin in northern Wisconsin. Size of the cabin is 728 square feet and it has a full basement...The furnace is in the basement and is connected to forced air ductwork that distributes heat throughout the cabin...I especially appreciate the way it keeps the cabin uniformly warm all night compared to a wood stove, which starts out being very warm but is cold by morning.

Back in 1985 when we were first married, we lived in Iowa in an OLD house with NO insulation, and that first winter we FROZE but paid astronomical heating bills. The next summer (1986) we bought our first ENGLANDER Stove! Over the past 17 years we have put between 5-6 cords of wood through that stove without having any problems -- other than replacing the door gaskets occasionally...Thanks for the quality product.

We would like to thank you for your help since (we have owned this stove) which was bought back in 1991! It has been used EVERY year all winter long...Love the stove and have had very few problems, and the problems we have had

Subject: "I am a fan"
October 25, 2002
I am a Englander fan, we owned one for about 16 years and when we moved, the (new) house had central h/a, but with last winter's ice storm we realized how much we missed the stove -- not only did it keep us warm, but it kept us fed, too! I learned to cook on it as well. We have relocated to New Mexico, and I am not looking forward to paying a high (heating) bill. So, we are again looking to your company for a product to make us warm and cozy.

In 1999 we purchased the tallest mountain for 20 miles in any direction in our part of Maine, put in power and a well and still do not have the house insulated and sheetrocked. We tried 3 woodstoves we had, one at a time, and finally (suffering a maximum 42 degree inside temperature) we drove to (a local dealer) and bought your largest woodstove (the wood/coal add-on furnace). Even when it is a blizzard or 20 below with a 60 knot wind, we still need to have the windows open to let out the excess heat. We spend time with every new visitor recommending your stove for 3 reasons: over 24" log length; glass (viewing window); and separate ash pan/door...You have made it possible to live at the top of a mountain, well, counting the snowplow...You may quote me.

Two years ago when I first saw your Model 26-GU LP/NG (freestanding gas stove) I fell in love. There was a brochure with a picture of one with (brass) trim, and wow, that was the stove I had to have...We were able to (special order) "My Stove," and let me tell you, I am still in love with that beauty...I just think it is so pretty. It really looks nice, and makes the room real cozy in the winter.
Thanks for a great product,

Subject: My vent-free gas stove
October 9, 2002
Just wanted to let you know how much I have enjoyed my vent-free stove from England's Stove Works. It is placed in my basement, which is not finished and is just over 1100 sq. ft. This stove heats the entire basement, and I don't even use the blower most of the time. If I turn it on 30 minutes or so before I go downstairs, the whole basement is warm by the time I go downstairs. I don't even need to turn in on the highest setting to keep things warm, usually I set it on 3-5 to keep things comfortable, even in December and January. And the flame looks great, too! Great product!!

My husband and I purchased a new pellet stove from a local dealer after doing much research on alternative heat sources. We have a double-wide mobile home and were frustrated with the rising cost of natural gas prices and decided to go total electric, but wanted another source of heat to save on electricity as well.
I think that our choice to purchase an Englander pellet stove was the most intelligent choice we made. We have had our stove for over 2 months and are well pleased with the efficiency of your unit. It gets pretty cool here in Western Nebraska but we don't worry about that a bit. We bought your smallest unit and our house stays a comfortable 70 degrees. With the use of ceiling fans, even the bedrooms are comfortable.
Our energy bills have been cut drastically. Right now, we keep the feed rate low and are surprised at the heat your stove provides. It is nice to know we can load the hopper, leave the house and come back, and it is warm in here. Thank you for a great product.

Again, thank you much for the service.

Here's "an oldie but a goodie..."

June 28, 1999

To C.E.O. R.G. England,
Enclosed is a copy of a previous letter, stating our complete satisfaction with our Englander wood-burning stove Model 28B, purchased Sept. 16, 1986.

I just want to restate how happy my wife and I are with Englander as a whole--Stove: A-1, people: super nice. I've made a lot of dumb decisions in my 70-odd years.  But purchasing an Englander wood stove was not one!

...I'm a real live person and your piece of work (the stove) has done a super job for us, I just had to tell you.  The people at your factory are the BEST, all of them!

God Bless You and all the employees, R.C.  (VA)

P.S. Dave and the whole staff are real nice people, never too busy to give the customer a listen.

---R.C.'s previous letter:---

February 12, 1995

Mr. R.G. England

This letter is long overdue.  My name is (R.C.)  I, or rather we, my wife (D.C.) and I are happy owners of one of your Englander wood stoves, Model 28B...we purchased it Sept. 16, 1986.  It has kept us warm for these past nine years, we use about five cords of hardwood a season.  It was one of my better ideas...to own it.  The too few to mention problems were solved by a short visit to your factory in Monroe, and speaking to a young man named Scott.

I'm sure you know what an asset he is to the Englander Co.  As if the wood stove wasn't enough, Scott just makes it better for us.  I would also like to say that the office staff is a pleasure to know, they treat a visitor kindly.

God bless you all.

Dear Sir or Madam:

I am writing to you in regards to a recent purchase of your pellet stoves.  We have a 151 years old farm house and an apartment attached to the back of the house.  We purchased a pellet insert for our fireplace.  We liked that so much that we then purchased the freestanding model for our tenant.  We then replaced our Vermont Castings wood stove, also with a freestanding unit.  We purchased three stoves all together, in a matter of a three week time frame.

I have a chronic illness called Cystic Fibrosis that involves the respiratory system.   Burning wood for heat has always caused me to have breathing problems, because of the smoke and dust, but not anymore with your pellet stoves.

I want to thank you for such a wonderful product and let you know how happy we are.   I would also like to request a price list of the brass accessories to the freestanding models and insert.

Thank you once again.

Sincerely,
C.R. (NY)
