Most of the country has experienced an unusually warm winter (you can read a fairly involved explanation of it here if you're curious), and that means one thing for many of us: spring allergy season should be interesting! 

Pollen is already coating much of the space on our patios, cars, windows, etc. here in Central Virginia, and some of you folks in the warmer areas are probably seeing even more of it than we are.

At any rate, it is nice to see the trees and flowers blooming again, as we head towards summer. And that also means that it's time for our Early Bird Kits sale!

                

'Tis the Season (for Savings)
Each year, England's Stove Works conducts our "Early Bird Kits" sale during the spring season. As you're shutting down your stove for the season, check out our web store and go to your stove's model number to see what kits we have available for you.
The Early Bird Kits range from Gasket Kits (which provide just about every gasket you'll need to keep your stove safely and properly sealed) to full Overhaul Kits, which contain the gaskets and the individual parts that receive the most 'wear & tear.'  Even if you don't need all of the blowers, motors, gaskets (etc.) that the kits have, you may wish to replace the parts you need to replace now, and keep the others on-hand for any mid-heating season emergencies.

Speaking of Maintenance...
If you're getting ready to close down your "Old Faithful" Englander, Summers Heat or Timber Ridge stove for the season, please take a look in your Owner's Manual and complete all of the items in the Yearly Maintenance section.  Not only will it help your home smell better (cleaning out the ashes), but it will make for a safe, smooth transition into your heating season next fall.  And that's especially helpful when the first day of the cold season comes after a surprise drop to below-freezing overnight!
